Closing Time!

We have decided to close our lab and studio. Don't despair- Kevin will continue to take on assignments that do not require a studio. Most of our photography is done on location, and even more could be. For those of you who send employees to the studio for business portraits, Kevin can do them at your site.

Why close? As you can imagine, several factors played a part in this difficult decision. Vacating the present location was a foregone conclusion. Phenomenal development in our neighborhood has put negative and positive pressures on us. Dramatic tax increases, the pending long-term disruption of utility work in front of our business, and property option/lease buyout arrangements sealed the decision. The choice not to move to another location was the real tough one. Believe us, there were many sleepless nights. Ultimately, technology driven changes in our industry are the root cause. We won't bore you with the numerous and technical details.

We are proud of the many accomplishments the studio has made since 1966. Happily, we will close with money in our pockets and all of our liabilities paid.

Some of you may be worried about negatives that are stored here. So are we! Please, if you want your files, pick them up by June 13th. At that time we will donate remaining files to the Historical Society.

Shooting in the studio will continue until June 14th. It's not too late to get that whiz-bang product or new colleague in here for photography. After that, it's location only through Kevin's new venture.

Wondering what the future has in store for Sharon? You are not the only one! Sharon is contemplating many different career opportunities.
